Academic Requirements

For undergraduate studies, students must have completed their 10+2 education. Graduate programs require a total of 16 years of education, typically achieved through a combination of 10+2 and 4 years of undergraduate study. Given that many Indian colleges offer a 3-year undergraduate program, it is advisable to pursue an additional year of education, such as a diploma or certificate program, to meet the 16-year requirement. English Language Requirements

US universities generally require international students to demonstrate proficiency in English. A minimum IELTS score of 6.0 to 6.5 or TOEFL scores ranging from 80 to 90 are typically mandated. Visa Requirements

The F1 visa is the most common visa for international students pursuing education in the USA. MONEY

Some universities have their own credit union or other banking services. Before opening an account, find out which banks are near where you would live and study.
